Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effects of transformational leadership and work discipline on employee performance, with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. Research Method: This study employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The study population comprised 677 production employees, and the sample comprised 123 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted by distributing a Likert-scale questionnaire, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3. Results and Discussion: The study indicates that the transformational leadership style and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. Meanwhile, organizational commitment has a positive but insignificant effect on employee performance. The results also indicate that organizational commitment does not mediate the effects of transformational leadership style or work discipline on employee performance. Implications: The findings of this study provide a basis for PT Royal Korindah Purbalingga's management to prioritize strengthening transformational leadership and work discipline to improve employee performance. Originality: The originality of this study lies in empirical evidence that organizational commitment does not mediate the effects of transformational leadership and work discipline on employee performance in the eyelash manufacturing industry, thereby enriching the body of knowledge on the mechanisms driving employee performance.
