<![CDATA[The development of digital media presents serious challenges for Islamic boarding schools, particularly regarding the spread of hoaxes that have the potential to weaken religious authority, damage the institution's reputation, and undermine public trust. This study aims to analyze Tebuireng Online's communication strategy in maintaining the authority of Tebuireng Islamic Boarding School in the era of digital hoaxes. The study used a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation of Tebuireng Online's content management and communication flow. Data analysis techniques were carried out using an interactive analysis model that includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, accompanied by triangulation of sources and techniques to ensure the validity of the findings. The results show that Tebuireng Online implements a communication strategy through tiered information verification, the application of the digital tabayyun principle, one-stop information management, and the development of polite, persuasive, and educational counter-narratives. This strategy not only serves to correct misinformation but also strengthens the position of Islamic boarding school media as an official and credible source of information.
