<![CDATA[Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a chronic metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia due to impaired insulin secretion or action, with one of its complications being skin integrity disorders such as diabetic ulcers, which are difficult to heal because of peripheral neuropathy and circulatory impairment. Wound care using the moist wound healing method is a modern approach that maintains wound moisture, thereby accelerating the healing process and reducing the risk of infection. This study aims to describe the management of skin integrity disorders in patients with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus through moist wound healing care at Pandan Arang Hospital, Boyolali. The method used is descriptive with a nursing case study approach on one patient with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and diabetic ulcer treated in the Akar Wangi Ward, with data collected through interviews, observation, physical examination, and medical record documentation over three days. The results showed that the patient had a stage III wound measuring 8×6 cm with a random blood glucose level of 778 mg/dl, and after three days of moist wound healing care, improvements were observed in the form of granulation tissue formation, reduced swelling, decreased tissue damage, and reduced pus, although the wound size remained unchanged. The conclusion of this study is that moist wound healing is able to improve wound conditions and enhance the tissue healing process, although skin integrity problems have not been fully resolved, thus requiring continued care.]]>
