<![CDATA[Energy resilience at the village level is a strategic issue for supporting sustainable development and achieving the national target of a 23% share of new and renewable energy (NRE) in the energy mix. Keben Village, located in Turi District, Lamongan Regency, possesses significant potential to be developed into an energy-independent village through the utilization of solar energy. This community service initiative aims to survey and map the solar energy potential in Keben Village as a step toward realizing an energy-independent village. The activities involved field surveys, interviews, measurements of solar radiation intensity, and the mapping of solar energy potential distribution using Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Survey results indicate that Keben Village has excellent solar energy potential, with an average solar radiation intensity of 5.2 kWh/m²/day. Mapping results identified 15 strategic locations suitable for solar panel installations, including residential areas, public facilities, and agricultural land. The initiative also included community outreach and training regarding solar panel technology and maintenance. Through the utilization of solar energy, it is hoped that Keben Village can reduce its reliance on fossil fuels, lower electricity costs for residents, and contribute to the government's program of achieving a 23% new and renewable energy (NRE) mix target by 2025.]]>
