<![CDATA[This study aimed to determine the influence of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation in the Social Sciences Subject in Grade VII of SMP Negeri 1 Paleleh. The research problem was the relatively low learning motivation among some students, which was presumed to be influenced by the availability and use of school learning facilities. This study employed a quantitative, survey-based approach. The population consisted of all Grade VII students at SMP Negeri 1 Paleleh, amounting to 72 students. A total sampling technique was used, in which the entire population served as the research sample. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis included validity and reliability testing, descriptive analysis, simple linear regression, t-test analysis, and coefficient of determination analysis using SPSS. The findings denoted that learning facilities had a positive and significant influence on students’ learning motivation. This was evidenced by the t-test result, which showed a calculated t-value of 5.581 higher than the critical t-value of 1.994, with a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05. The simple linear regression analysis showed a regression coefficient of 0.654, indicating that every improvement in learning facilities was associated with an increase in students’ learning motivation. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.308, indicating that learning facilities accounted for 30.8% of students’ learning motivation, while the remaining 69.2% was influenced by factors beyond the scope of this study. Based on the descriptive analysis, learning facilities had a mean score of 4.55, indicating a very good category, while students’ learning motivation had a mean score of 4.66, also indicating a very good category. In conclusion, the better the school’s learning facilities, the higher students’ motivation to learn in the Social Sciences subject in Grade VII at SMP Negeri 1 Paleleh.]]>
