Students showed low speaking skills as indicated by students appearing to lack confidence, hesitation, and often afraid of making mistakes when asked to answer questions, express opinions, or tell stories in front of their friends. Therefore, this study aims to improve language skills, namely speaking in fifth grade elementary school students by implementing the Think Pair Share (TPS) learning model with the help of digital storytelling media in Indonesian language learning. This study was a quasi-experimental type with a posttest only non-equivalent control group design. The population and sample in this study were 65 fourth grade students of Saraswati 1 Denpasar Elementary School. Student character data were collected using the Likert scale observation method. Data were analyzed using quantitative analysis techniques. Data analysis was carried out using paired sample t-test calculations. Based on the test results, t count > t table (13.77 > 1.998) and a significance value of less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) was obtained. The average score of speaking skills in the experimental class was higher than the average score of speaking skills in the control class (85.25 > 52.87), so it can be said that the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by digital storytelling in Indonesian language learning can influence speaking skills.
