<![CDATA[Digital-based village service applications have increasingly been adopted by rural governments in Indonesia to improve public administration. However, their effectiveness depends on how village officials communicate instructions to residents during implementation. This study examines the influence of officials' instructional communication on the quality of application-based digital public services in Desa Bedagung, Paninggaran Subdistrict, Pekalongan Regency. The study used an explanatory quantitative approach involving 82 residents selected through simple random sampling from an estimated population of 450 adult residents who had interacted with the village digital service application. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring the clarity, accuracy, timeliness, and interactivity of instructional communication, as well as digital service quality indicators. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with statistical software. The results show that officials' instructional communication has a positive and significant influence on digital public service quality. Clearer and more consistent instructions were associated with higher levels of resident satisfaction regarding application usability, responsiveness, and reliability. These findings highlight the importance of improving village officials' communication competence through digital literacy training and simplified instructional materials to support successful village-level digital transformation.]]>
