This study aims to examine the role of Tuha Peut as a ḥakam in resolving domestic disputes in Gampong Lamdom from the perspective of Islamic law. Employing an empirical legal research method with statute, conceptual, and case approaches, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, then analyzed descriptively and prescriptively. The findings indicate that Tuha Peut functions effectively as a trusted mediator, and the consensus-based deliberation mechanism aligns with the principles of ḥakam and ṣulḥ in Islamic law, while also reinforcing the application of customary law at the village level
