<![CDATA[The medical device inventory information system functions as a tool for managing medical equipment inventory, including recording the receipt, distribution, return, and stock availability of medical devices. At Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru, several problems remain, including manual coordination that prolongs data collection and equipment verification, the accumulation of medical devices in hospital units, limited storage capacity of the SINTA application, and discrepancies between the existing Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and its implementation. This study aimed to analyze the medical device inventory system in supporting the availability of healthcare facilities at Awal Bros Hospital Pekanbaru. This study used a qualitative content analysis approach. Conducted from January to June 2026, it involved four informants: three key informants (U1, U2, U3) and one supporting informant (P1). Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document reviews, then analyzed by transcription, coding, categorization, and content analysis. The findings showed that the medical device inventory system has not been optimally implemented due to limited SINTA application storage, manual borrowing and return procedures, inadequate internet capacity, and inconsistent implementation of the medical device handover SOP. As a result, the system is not yet effective in terms of actuating, coordinating, facilitating, controlling, and reporting.]]>
