<![CDATA[Higher education requires students to have confidence in their abilities to face various academic demands and complete coursework optimally. One internal factor suspected to play a role in the development of academic self-efficacy is a growth mindset. Therefore, this study aims to examine the effect of a growth mindset on academic self-efficacy in students at the Faculty of Engineering, Yudharta University, Pasuruan. The population in this study was 346 students, while purposive sampling using the Slovin formula was used to determine the sample size, amounting to 193 students. The research instrument used a Likert scale to measure growth mindset and academic self-efficacy. Data analysis was performed using a simple regression test to determine the influence of both variables. The results showed an F-value of 61.818 with a significance value of 0.000, indicating an influence of growth mindset on academic self-efficacy. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.245 indicates that growth mindset contributes 24.5% to academic self-efficacy.]]>
