This community service activity aims to implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based telemonitoring system for pond water quality to assist shrimp farmers in monitoring the environmental conditions of their shrimp ponds in real-time. The main problem faced by the people of Tarahan Village, Ketibung District, South Lampung is the fluctuation of pond water quality which is difficult to control because monitoring is still done manually and not continuously. To overcome this, the community service team designed and implemented a telemonitoring system that utilizes an ESP32 microcontroller with temperature, pH, salinity, and TDS sensors connected to an online platform so that data can be accessed via a device or computer. The activity method includes a pre-implementation stage (site survey, needs analysis, and system design), an implementation stage (equipment installation and training for shrimp farmers on system usage), and a post-implementation stage (mentoring, equipment performance evaluation, and community response analysis). The results of the activity showed that the telemonitoring system functioned well and was able to provide continuous information on water quality parameters. The shrimp farmers community showed high enthusiasm and increased understanding of the importance of water quality control to maintain pond productivity. Overall, the implementation of this telemonitoring technology has been proven to improve the efficiency of shrimp pond management and encourage digital transformation in the traditional fisheries sector. This program is expected to become a model for the application of appropriate technology that can be replicated in other coastal areas to support sustainable fisheries cultivation that adapts to technological developments.
