<![CDATA[Infrastructure development in Sepaku, East Kalimantan, has created a demand for vertical housing facilities capable of withstanding lateral loads. This study aims to design the superstructure of a five-story low-cost rental apartment building (Rusunawa) located at Jalan Negara No. 9, Sepaku, utilizing a reinforced concrete configuration. The design methodology adheres to the latest regulations: SNI 1727:2020 for loading, SNI 1726:2019 for seismic load analysis, and SNI 2847:2019 for structural concrete requirements. A three-dimensional structural analysis was conducted using SAP2000 v.14 software. The evaluation focused on key structural elements, including tie beams (TB.1: 30×50 cm; TB.2: 25×40 cm), beams (B1: 30×50 cm; B2: 25×40 cm), and columns (K1: 50×50 cm; K2: 35×35 cm). The analysis results indicate that the cross-sectional dimensions of these structural components are capable of safely resisting combined gravity and lateral loads. The calculated flexural and shear reinforcement areas meet the minimum and maximum limits prescribed by the Special Moment Resisting Frame (SMRF) criteria. This study is expected to serve as a technical reference for the design of reliable and accountable multi-story buildings in the Sepaku area.]]>
