<![CDATA[Background: Schizophrenia with auditory hallucinations is a mental health problem that can affect patients’ behavior and social functioning. Non-pharmacological interventions such as drawing art therapy are needed as alternative approaches to help patients manage hallucinations. Objective: This study aimed to describe the application of drawing art therapy in managing auditory hallucinations in patients with schizophrenia. Methods: This study used a descriptive design with a case study approach involving two patients. Data were collected through interviews, observations, physical examinations, and assessment of hallucination characteristics. The study was conducted at Bandar Jaya Lahat Public Health Center from March 31 to April 2, 2024. The intervention was administered for three consecutive days with a duration of approximately 10 minutes per session. Data analysis was performed descriptively by comparing patients’ conditions before and after the intervention. Result: The results showed improvement in patients’ ability to recognize hallucinations, divert attention through drawing, and control their responses. Patients appeared calmer, more cooperative, and more independent. Emotional responses also decreased during the intervention. Conclusion: It is concluded that drawing art therapy can be used as a supportive intervention to manage auditory hallucinations and is recommended for continuous application.]]>
