Writing procedural texts is an important skill in the Indonesian language curriculum, especially for 7th grade students. However, many students face difficulties that come from limited vocabulary and lack of reading habits. This research aims to analyze these factors and provide strategic solutions to overcome these obstacles. Research is carried out with a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interview, and analysis of student writing results. Research results show that vocabulary limitations have an impact On student disability. Compose effective and logical sentences, while the lack of habits Reading hinders students' understanding of procedural text structures. The proposed solution includes the integration of vocabulary learning in context, active reading habituation, and the use of interactive media to increase students' interest and skills in writing procedural texts.
