Improving rice plant growth and production to support sustainable agriculture can be achieved through the application of Azolla. This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between growth and yield components and rice-Azolla production. The study was conducted in Tekongan Village, Ketambe Subdistrict, Kutacane City. The study took place from January to April 2018. The study used a randomized block design consisting of K1 = 250 kg urea ha⁻¹ without azolla, K2 = 250 kg urea ha⁻¹ + 1,000 kg azolla ha⁻¹, K3 = 87.5 kg urea ha⁻¹ + 1,000 kg azolla ha⁻¹, and K4 = 125 kg urea ha ⁻¹ + 1,000 kg azolla per hectare, K5 = 62.5 kg urea per hectare + 1,000 kg azolla per hectare, and K6 = no urea fertilizer + 1,000 kg azolla per hectare. Data analysis was performed using correlation tests and cross-validation. The results of the study showed that plant height and the number of filled grains correlated with grain weight at a higher level than other growth and yield components, with the same correlation coefficient value of 0.95. Dry straw weight and harvest index have a direct and positive effect on grain weight, with cross-correlation coefficients of 1.086 and 0.755, respectively. Plant height and the number of filled grains can serve as indicators of crop production.
