<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model on the critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Tengah. This study employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. The sample consisted of 35 students from SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Tengah. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used in this study included validity testing, reliability testing, data normality testing, t-test (partial test), coefficient of determination test, and simple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicated that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model had a significant effect on students' critical thinking skills. The coefficient of determination value of 0.785 showed that 78.5% of the variability in the critical thinking skills of students at SMP Negeri 1 Suwawa Tengah could be explained by the Project Based Learning (PjBL) variable. In other words, the implementation of the Project Based Learning model made a substantial contribution to improving students' critical thinking skills, while the remaining 21.5% was influenced by other factors outside the variables examined in this study.]]>
