The thermoelectric generator combined with the superheat air conditioner experiences differences. the results of the design and construction of a thermoelectric generator (TEG) based electrical energy generation system has been used to utilizes waste heat from superheat air conditioner (AC) between the compressor and condenser. This system uses an aluminum plate measuring 20 cm long, 8 cm wide and 0.8 cm thick which has been modified with five ¼ inch pipe grooves to accommodate the TEG and store heat. The cooling system used is heatsink measuring 20 cm long, 8 cm wide, and fin thickness 0.2 cm. Testing was carried out using TEG type SP-1848-27145 SA connected in series with variations of 2, 6 and 10 modules, with a combination of condensate water cooler and fan on the heatsink. The measurement results show that 2 TEGs produce electrical energy of 1898 mV, 26 mA, and 51,07 mW of power at ΔT 34.4°C; 6 TEGs produce 2747 mV, 13,5 mA, and 371,601 mW of power at ΔT 35.5°C; and 10 TEGs produce the highest electrical energy of 2681 mV, 15,1 mA, and 405,024 mW of power at ΔT 34.5°C. These results indicate that increasing the number of TEG modules provides an increase in the electrical energy produced.
