<![CDATA[Hydrometeorological disasters in Aceh have increased the complexity of emergency care services, highlighting the need to strengthen the capacity of emergency nurses in responding to crisis situations. This community service program aimed to enhance nurses' knowledge, resilience, and implementation of patient safety goals through training involving 30 emergency nurses in Pidie Jaya Regency. The program employed lectures, interactive discussions, experience sharing, case studies, simulations, and pre-test and post-test evaluations. The results demonstrated an improvement in the mean knowledge score from 81.3 to 92.4. Participants actively shared their experiences in managing disaster situations and were actively engaged in simulations of patient safety goal implementation. This program strengthened nurses’ preparedness, promoted a culture of patient safety, and served as a capacity-building strategy to improve the resilience of nursing services in disaster-prone areas.]]>
