<![CDATA[Limited community knowledge regarding first aid for choking and snakebite emergencies remains a significant public health concern because delayed or inappropriate initial management may increase the risk of complications. Therefore, health education is needed to strengthen community preparedness in responding to emergency situations. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge of Karang Taruna members in Sumurgayam Village regarding first aid for choking and snakebite cases. An interactive lecture using a one-group pre-test–post-test design was conducted with 30 participants. Knowledge was measured using questionnaires administered before and after the educational session and analyzed descriptively. The mean knowledge score increased from 54.67 to 89.83, representing a 64.32% improvement, while the proportion of participants with a high level of knowledge increased from 13.33% to 93.33%. These findings demonstrate that health education effectively improves participants' knowledge and contributes to strengthening community preparedness in providing appropriate first aid during emergencies.]]>
