<![CDATA[The high cost of commercial fish feed and the underutilization of local resources remain major challenges for fish farming in Tegal Yoso Village, East Lampung Regency. This community service program aimed to improve the knowledge and skills of local communities in producing fish feed based on taro leaf (Colocasia esculenta) meal as an alternative local feed ingredient. The program employed lectures, science and technology dissemination, demonstrations, and hands-on training involving 25 members of the Fish Farmers Association (Gapokdakan). The results showed improved participants' understanding of fish nutrition, feed formulation, and pellet production techniques, as well as their ability to produce fish feed independently. The formulated feed contained 30.27% crude protein, indicating its potential to meet the nutritional requirements of freshwater fish. This program strengthened community capacity and promoted self-reliance in fish feed production through the utilization of locally available resources.]]>
