This study aims to determine the influence of the principal’s transformational leadership style and teachers’ work motivation on teachers’ performance in the personality aspect at State Senior High School 1 Tanah Abang. This study employed a quantitative research approach conducted at State Senior High School 1 Tanah Abang with a sample of 45 teachers. The sampling technique used was total sampling, in which the entire population was included as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale. The data analysis methods employed were descriptive and inferential statistics using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that, partially, the principal’s transformational leadership style did not have a significant effect on teachers’ performance in the personality aspect, whereas teachers’ work motivation had a significant effect on teachers’ performance in the personality aspect. Simultaneously, the principal’s transformational leadership style and teachers’ work motivation had a significant effect on teachers’ performance in the personality aspect. The magnitude of the influence of the two variables was indicated by a coefficient of determination of 40.1%, while the remaining 59.9% was influenced by other variables outside the scope of this study.
