<![CDATA[This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) at MAN 1 Kota Tidore. The Independent Curriculum is a government initiative to improve the quality of education in Indonesia by providing schools and educators with the freedom to develop more creative and relevant learning processes according to students' needs. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and document study. The research findings indicate that MAN 1 Kota Tidore has implemented various activities such as Improving Students' English Language Proficiency, Grand Reunion, and Collaborative Study with other schools to support the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The challenges faced include teachers' limited ability to adapt to technology, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and limited internet access. To overcome these challenges, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) provides teacher mentoring and training programs and is committed to improving school facilities, infrastructure, and internet access. With the government's support and the efforts of MAN 1 Tidore, it is hoped that the implementation of the Independent Curriculum can be carried out better in accordance with its objectives.]]>
