Clear village boundaries are essential for effective governance, public services, and spatial planning. This community engagement activity aimed to improve the representation of the administrative boundary of Ampeldento Village through participatory mapping, quantify differences between the previous and corrected boundaries, and produce a map for village use. Data were collected through discussions with village representatives using printed maps, local spatial knowledge, and digital geospatial data. The boundaries were processed and overlaid in a Geographic Information System to identify unchanged, added, and reduced areas. The previous boundary covered 149.488 ha, while the corrected boundary covered 144.272 ha. The unchanged area was 143.782 ha, with 0.490 ha added and 5.706 ha reduced, resulting in a net decrease of 5.216 ha or 3.489%. Changes were concentrated in the southeastern part of the village. Participatory verification improved the clarity and transparency of local boundary information, although formal inter-village verification is still required.
