The 2024 Election is a crucial momentum for the consolidation of democracy in Indonesia. However, the practice of vote buying is still an acute problem that harms the integrity of the election. This study aims to analyze the problems of handling violations of vote buying in the 2024 Election based on the legal framework regulated in Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections. The method used is a normative and empirical approach with a review of literature and violation data from Bawaslu RI. The results of the study show that although the regulation has regulated strict sanctions, the implementation of the law still faces various obstacles, such as weak evidence, limited authority of supervisory institutions, and low political literacy of the community. This study concludes the need for norm reformulation, strengthening the capacity of election law enforcement institutions, and technology integration in supervision. This research is expected to contribute to the improvement of regulations and a more effective election law enforcement system in the future.
