Background: Stunting and malnutrition remain public health problems in Indonesia, impacting physical growth, cognitive development, productivity, and the quality of human resources in the future. One of the factors causing stunting is the lack of knowledge of mothers regarding nutritional needs, parenting patterns, and feeding practices for pregnant women and toddlers. This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge of pregnant women and mothers with toddlers regarding stunting prevention and malnutrition management through health education and counseling. This counseling activity was conducted on February 5, 2026 and was attended by 50 pregnant women and mothers with toddlers. This counseling activity was carried out using interactive lecture methods, discussions, pre-tests and post-tests, and using presentations and brochures. The targets were pregnant women and mothers with toddlers. The results showed an increase in participants' knowledge regarding stunting, risk factors, prevention, balanced nutrition, as an initial step to overcome malnutrition. This was indicated by an increase in participants' initial knowledge from 68.30% in the pre-test and 95.23% in the post-test. Participants also showed high enthusiasm during the counseling activity. This activity demonstrates that health education is an effective promotive and preventive strategy for increasing maternal knowledge as an effort to prevent stunting and address malnutrition. It is hoped that this educational activity can be implemented sustainably through collaboration between health workers, cadres, and local governments.
