<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the constraints of Beaching maneuvering on board LCT Sanjaya 01 and the efforts to overcome them. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method. Data were collected through interviews, observations, documentation, and literature review. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that the constraints of Beaching maneuvering are influenced by internal and external factors. Internal factors include the crew’s lack of readiness in preparing the required equipment, limited knowledge of Beaching procedures, inadequate maintenance of equipment such as the winch , ramp door, and wire rope, and weak coordination between the deck crew and the engine crew. External factors include weather conditions, currents, wind, waves, water depth, and the condition of the Beaching point. One incident that highlights the influence of external factors was the breaking of the forward mooring line during the Beaching process at Jetty Suaran due to strong river currents, heavy rain, and strong winds. Efforts to address these constraints include improving crew knowledge, conducting routine equipment maintenance, strengthening coordination among crew members, and carefully considering weather and water conditions before carrying out Beaching operations. The success of Beaching maneuvering is determined by technical readiness, crew competence, and accurate environmental assessment.]]>
