The crew change process at PT Dewi Sri Maritim continues to face challenges, particularly delays in implementation, which affect vessel operational efficiency, team effectiveness, and the workload of the Crewing Department. This study aims to analyze the influence of Crewing department performance on the effectiveness of crew change operations and to examine the relationship between these variables. A quantitative approach using a survey method was employed. The research population consisted of 50 employees, all of whom were selected as the sample using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through observation and closed-ended questionnaires distributed online via Google Forms. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between Crewing performance and the effectiveness of crew change operations, as shown by a Pearson Correlation coefficient of 0.737 with a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.543 indicates that Crewing performance contributes 54.3% to the effectiveness of the crew change process. The regression equation Y=14.613+0.673X shows that each one-unit increase in Crewing performance improves the effectiveness of crew change operations by 0.673 units.
