This study analyzes the relationship between Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and electrical energy efficiency in medium-voltage distribution panels at PT Indonesia Chemical Alumina. Measurements were conducted using the ABB ANR96 power analyzer connected via RS485 communication and monitored using ABB SW01-128 software for seven days. The observed parameters include THDv, THDi, power factor (PF), and kW/kVA ratio. The results show that the average THDv in all panels is 0%, indicating voltage distortion within standard limits. THDi values vary across panels, with the highest value recorded at 3.60% and the lowest at 0%. The average PF ranges from 0.66 to 0.72, indicating moderate efficiency conditions. Correlation analysis shows a negative relationship between THDi and energy efficiency with a correlation coefficient of −0.2329 and a determination coefficient of 24.73%, categorized as low correlation. These findings indicate that although THDi values are relatively small, they still directly influence energy efficiency in medium-voltage distribution systems.
