<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the madrasa principal's strategies for Ecotheology programs in Pesantren represent an effort to integrate Islamic values with environmental conservation. However, the successful implementation of these programs depends not only on the availability of facilities and infrastructure but also on the managerial commitment of the pesantren leadership. This study aims to analyze the forms of managerial commitment in the implementation of the ecotheology program at Pesantren Modern Al-Amanah, Sidoarjo, Indonesia. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving the pesantren leader, administrators, ustaz (Islamic teachers), educational staff, and students, who were selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed interactively through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification, while data trustworthiness was ensured through source and method triangulation as well as member checking. The findings reveal that managerial commitment is the primary factor contributing to the successful implementation of the ecotheology program. This commitment is reflected in five key aspects: (1) the formulation of policies integrating Islamic values with environmental conservation; (2) the provision of resources, including budget allocation, facilities, and an implementation team; (3) the development of an organizational culture through habituation and exemplary leadership; (4) the implementation of regular monitoring and evaluation to support continuous improvement; and (5) the active involvement of all members of the pesantren community in environmental activities.]]>
