<![CDATA[This research aimed at knowing whether there was or not the effect of using real object media on Pedosphere introduction of soil horizon material to student learning interest of State Senior High School 4 Pekanbaru. This research used quantitative approach with quasi-experimental method.The population of this research were 144 students of X IPS grade. Random sampling technique was used in this research. The samples of this research were 72 students.Questionnaire was used for collecting the data. Descriptive quantitative was used for analyzing the data. The result of this research showed that there was a significant effect of using real object learning media to student learning interest on Pedosphere introduction of soil horizon material. The students‟ learning interest increased by using real object learning media that could be seen from the mean score of pretest 60.5833 to be 81.0556 in the post test. Indicating an increase of student learning interest in the experimental group (33.79%) was in very high category.]]>
