The slow pace of promotion for faculty members at Islamic Religious Universities (PTKI) to the ranks of Senior Lecturer and Full Professor has become a pressing issue due to obstacles in publishing in reputable international journals, a heavy administrative burden, and a lack of global collaboration. This study aims to formulate an integrative model for accelerating faculty careers based on the synergy of research networks, digital competencies, and institutional support. The method used is qualitative, employing a library research approach through content and thematic analysis of reputable literature and policy documents from 2020 to 2026. The research findings demonstrate that functional promotion requires a “Tripartite Catalyst” model: global research networks open access to publication opportunities; digital competencies enhance the efficiency and methodological quality of manuscripts; while institutional support facilitates acceleration through funding for Article Processing Charges (APCs), simplification of the Performance Appraisal System (PAK), and structured mentorship programs. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the leadership of Islamic Higher Education Institutions (PTKI) immediately design a merit-based blueprint for accelerating faculty careers, allocate a special budget for subscriptions to scientific databases and APC incentives, and organize ongoing intensive writing workshops.
