<![CDATA[This study examines the role of da'wah management in institutionalizing the exemplary practices (dakwah bil-hal) of the founder of Alhamdulillah Islamic Boarding School, Kemadu, Sulang, Rembang, into the implementation of the child-friendly pesantren regulations initiated by the government. This qualitative study employed a case study approach. Data were collected through observations and interviews with the pesantren caregivers, administrators, and students, and were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings show that, prior to the introduction of government regulations, the pesantren had already implemented child-friendly care practices as part of its established culture and the exemplary values inherited from its founder. The implementation of da'wah management functions subsequently served as a mechanism for reviewing and aligning the pesantren's regulations, culture, and practices with the principles of child-friendly pesantren. Planning was conducted by the caregivers through deliberation with relevant stakeholders; organizing was initially implemented through the establishment of a task force, which was later integrated into the existing organizational structure; and implementation was carried out by aligning the established culture of exemplary conduct with government regulations. Monitoring and evaluation involved both internal and external stakeholders, including students' parents. These findings demonstrate that da'wah management plays a significant role in transforming established exemplary practices into institutionalized practices that are aligned with child protection policies.]]>
