<![CDATA[THE EFFECT OF THE JIGSAW TYPE COOPERATIVE LEARNING MODEL ASSISTED BY AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA ON STUDENTS' COLLABORATION SKILLS The implementation of a less varied learning model causes students to tend to be passive, so their collaboration skills have not developed optimally. This condition is due to the dominance of conventional teacher-centered approaches and the limited use of learning media. This study was conducted to examine the effect of the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning model that uses audiovisual media on the collaboration skills of fourth-grade students. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The research population was all fourth-grade students, totaling 42 students, with a final sample of 27 students selected using purposive sampling techniques. The results showed an increase in the average score from 63.14 in the initial observation to 75.62 in the final observation. The paired sample t-test results showed a calculated t value of 20.639 > table t = 2.056 at a 5% significance level, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The N-Gain test result of 0.36 also indicates an improvement in collaboration skills in the moderate category. The study results show that using the Jigsaw type Cooperative Learning model with audiovisual media significantly affects students' collaboration skills in science learning for fourth-grade students at SD Negeri Nayu Barat 1.]]>
