The This study aims to investigate the communication dynamics of migrant students in Makassar regarding family pressures and the role of social support in their adaptation processes. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with migrant students from outside South Sulawesi. The findings reveal that students utilize digital media to maintain emotional connections with their families. Family pressures typically manifest as academic expectations and demands for regular communication. However, the social support they receive serves as an effective counterbalance, helping students overcome emotional barriers and accelerate their adaptation to the new environment.
