This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in improving the quality of learning at UM Laboratory Junior High School. The Merdeka Curriculum provides teachers with flexibility in designing student-centered learning and tailoring it to students’ needs and characteristics. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at UM Laboratory Junior High School has been successful, as evidenced by lesson planning through instructional modules, the application of differentiated instruction, the use of various learning models and methods, and diverse assessment strategies. Additionally, the integration of the International Class Program (ICP) with the Cambridge curriculum represents an innovative approach to enhancing the quality of learning and students’ global perspectives. Curriculum evaluation is conducted periodically through supervision and reflection. Thus, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum can make a positive contribution to improving the quality of learning, although there are still several challenges that need to be addressed.
