This study was conducted at PT. Tiga Musim Mas Jaya, an oil and gas drilling service company, aiming to evaluate the implementation of Periodic Inspection (PI) in the preventive maintenance system of Unit C15. Data were collected through field observations, interviews with field supervisors, and analysis of scheduled and unscheduled breakdown records over a six-month observation period. The results show that the implementation of Periodic Inspection significantly improved maintenance performance, with a Physical Availability value of 98.75%, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) of 144 hours, and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) of 1.07 hours. In addition, PI Achievement and PI Accuracy both reached 100%, indicating consistent and timely inspection execution. These findings demonstrate that Periodic Inspection as part of preventive maintenance effectively enhances equipment reliability, operational readiness, and maintenance efficiency in the oil and gas sector
