<![CDATA[The act of listening to music evokes emotion. Although listening to music evokes emotion, the mechanisms that provoke psychological emotion are still ambiguous. The goal of this paper is to analyze psychological as well as experiential perspectives. In this case, a literature based approach means that peer reviewed literature that discussed topics of music, emotion, and the relevant psychology of music were reviewed and analyzed for relevant themes. The study reveals that listening to music is an emotional practice where the individual manages, organizes, and derives meaningful emotional responses. The study reveals that either an individual or a situational factor during an event, music listening facilitates emotional positive adjustment, motivation, and effective coping strategies. In this paper, there is an attempt to integrate the psychological perspectives of emotion, and the relevant physiology and experience of the individual. Future psychological literature must begin to offer more integrated models of intentionality and context.]]>
