Abstract

This study aims to observe the different perspectives of Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama student organizations on online sexual education through the Instagram account @taulebih.id. Sexual education in the digital era is very important due to the wide and easy access to information by the younger generation. However, there are concerns that the sexual education content provided is not in accordance with religious and cultural values. This study aims to understand the perspectives of the two major organizations regarding online sexual education. It aims to explore and compare the views of the two organizations on online sexual education. In addition, this study also aims to identify the factors that influence their perspectives on online sexual education content. Thus, the results of this study can be a reference for content providers to develop more appropriate educational materials. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects consisted of members of Muhammadiyah and Nahdlatul Ulama youth student organizations, IPM and IPPNU to represent the views of each organization. The object of research is sexual education content on the Instagram account @taulebih.id which is relevant and widely accessed by young people. Data analysis techniques include in-depth interviews and documentation to get a comprehensive picture of the views of the two organizations.
