<![CDATA[This study aims to analyze the forms and functions of stylistics in the story of Dhu al-Qarnayn in Surah Al-Kahf verses 83–99 and to examine how these linguistic elements contribute to the construction of meaning and the characterization of Dhu al-Qarnayn’s leadership. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using library research. The primary data consist of the Qur’anic verses narrating the story of Dhu al-Qarnayn in Surah Al-Kahf verses 83–99, while the secondary data include classical Qur’anic commentaries, books, and previous studies related to Qur’anic stylistics. The analysis is conducted through four stylistic levels: phonology, lexical preference, sentence preference, and deviation. The findings demonstrate that the story of Dhu al-Qarnayn employs various linguistic strategies, including sound harmony, lexical repetition, word selection, variations in sentence structure, ellipsis, imperative expressions, and different forms of linguistic deviation. These stylistic elements not only create aesthetic harmony and rhythmic effects but also strengthen meaning, intensify narrative dynamics, and emphasize the actions of the main character. Overall, the stylistic construction of the story portrays Dhu al-Qarnayn as a leader who is just, wise, responsible, and conscious that his power is ultimately granted by Allah. This study demonstrates that a stylistic approach can reveal the interconnectedness between the linguistic forms of the Qur’an and their aesthetic, semantic, and narrative functions in conveying moral and spiritual messages.]]>
