<![CDATA[The high psychological pressure experienced by prisoners during their criminal period has the potential to lead to deviant behavior, one of which is self-injury. The limited, stressful, and minimally social support conditions of the prison environment can trigger the emergence of ego depletion and loneliness, which, if unaddressed, will increase the risk of self-harm behavior. The purpose of this study aimed to determine the contribution of ego depletion and loneliness on self-injury behavior in prisoners in Class IIB Jombang Correctional Facility. This study used a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis methods. The sample in this study amounted to 160 male prisoners with non-probability sampling techniques using the Krejcie Morgan table. The instruments used are the Ego Depletion Scale (EDS), UCLA Loneliness Scale, and Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI). The results of the regression analysis showed an R value of 0.758 and an R Square of 0.574 with a significance p of 0.000 (<0.05), and the multiple regression equation is Y = 17.656 + 0.139X₁ + 0.819X₂. The results showed a positive and significant influence of ego depletion on self-injury behavior, as well as a positive and significant influence of loneliness on self-injury behavior. This means that the higher the level of ego depletion and loneliness experienced by prisoners, the higher their tendency to commit self-injury.]]>
