Household waste management in Maumere continues to face challenges, including limited waste separation at the source, insufficient community skills in utilizing used materials, and the limited development of waste management as an economic opportunity. This community service activity aimed to optimize household waste management through a circular economy approach while strengthening community creativity and economic potential. The activity was conducted over three weeks using a participatory approach involving observation, interviews, education, training, practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants were involved in waste separation, the utilization of used materials into creative products, and basic training in production cost calculation, pricing, packaging, and marketing. The results indicated initial improvements in participants' knowledge, skills, and perceptions of household waste. The community began to recognize that materials previously considered waste could still be reused and transformed into products with functional and economic value. The activity demonstrates that integrating circular economy principles with creative economic activities can serve as a community empowerment strategy that connects environmental management with local economic opportunities.
