The dependence of farming communities on several agricultural commodities and the suboptimal utilization of local potential remain challenges in developing economic independence in Krajan Hamlet, Gondowido Village, Ngebel District, Ponorogo Regency. This community service activity aimed to introduce agroforestry as an alternative land management system that utilizes local agricultural potential while supporting environmental sustainability. The activity employed the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which places community assets and potential as the foundation of empowerment. The activities consisted of observation and identification of local potential, an agroforestry seminar, and discussions and knowledge exchange with the community. The main activity was conducted on August 10, 2026, through collaboration between Community Service Program Group 6 of the KKN Persemakmuran, the Ponorogo Environmental Agency, and the Gondowido community. The results showed that the community has diverse agricultural potential, including porang, cassava, coffee, cloves, bananas, and papayas, but its utilization still faces several challenges. The seminar and discussions provided the community with knowledge about more diverse and sustainable land management and created opportunities to relate the agroforestry concept to their existing agricultural conditions. This activity serves as an initial step in developing community awareness to optimize local potential toward economic independence and environmental sustainability.
