This study aims to describe teachers' strategies for fostering students' scientific attitude through environment-based science learning and to reveal the supporting and inhibiting factors in elementary schools. A qualitative case study was conducted at Bagan Kota 001 and Bangko 003 Elementary Schools, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. Trustworthiness was established through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that teachers implemented strategies such as environmental utilization, observation, discussion, facilitation, guidance, and reflection, yet these had not optimally fostered scientific attitude. Curiosity and open-mindedness began to develop, while thoroughness, objectivity, honesty, and especially skepticism remained limited due to teacher-centered learning and underdeveloped inquiry.
