To address the overemphasis on cognitive and administrative traits in modern education, this qualitative library study reconstructs Ibn Jama’ah’s concept of adab-based teacher competence in Tadzkirat al-Sāmi’ wa al-Mutakallim. Content analysis shows that teacher adab encompasses three domains: self, pedagogy, and student relations. The findings establish the Adab-Based Teacher Model, integrating four key pillars: spirituality, scholarly professionalism, humanistic pedagogy, and moral leadership. Ultimately, this framework expands contemporary teaching standards by grounding professional competence in spiritual and moral integrity.
