<![CDATA[Bambapula Village is a coastal area with an abundant number of coconut trees, resulting in a large amount of coconut fiber waste. The use of this waste is still very limited, generally only sold at low prices or burned, which causes negative impacts in the form of air pollution and health problems. In fact, coconut fiber has the potential to be processed into alternative planting media, especially in dry land conditions in coastal areas. This service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of PKK women and coconut farmers in utilizing coconut fiber waste productively. The method used is Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), with an emphasis on the utilization of available local assets. Activities include socialization, technical training on making planting media from coconut fibers, and assistance in sustainable waste management management. The results of the activity show that the community is able to understand and practice coconut fiber processing techniques as a planting medium, as well as gain insight into the added value of the economy and its ecological benefits. Thus, this activity contributes to the empowerment of coastal communities through the use of integrated, sustainable, and economically valuable coconut waste.]]>
