<![CDATA[Population administration services are highly dependent on data accuracy; however, issues related to data discrepancies and input errors at the village level have rarely been specifically examined. This study aims to determine the accuracy of data in the population administration service process carried out by village officials and to analyze the impact of data inaccuracies on the effectiveness of public services and the fulfillment of citizens’ rights at the Purworejo Village Office, Blitar Regency. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method through observation, in-depth interviews with the village head, village secretary, and population administration staff, as well as documentation. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model and strengthened through source triangulation. The results showed that village officials understood the importance of accurate, consistent, and verified data; however, its implementation was not yet fully optimal due to input errors, incomplete residents’ documents, and technical constraints in the digital system. Most data accuracy indicators had been addressed, but they had not been fully achieved. Data inaccuracies were found to hinder public services, delay administrative processes, increase the documentation burden on the community, and delay the fulfillment of citizens’ rights. These findings indicate the need to strengthen verification mechanisms, conduct regular data updates, and improve digital systems at the village government level.]]>
