<![CDATA[Exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months is recommended by the WHO and UNICEF to support infant development. Although exclusive breastfeeding coverage is increasing, the global rate remains far from the 50% target. In Indonesia, despite this increase, exclusive breastfeeding remains low. Educating pregnant women about exclusive breastfeeding is key to increasing their motivation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of video as an educational medium on the motivation of pregnant women in their third trimester to prepare for breastfeeding at the PMB Gendis. This research used a pre-experimental method with a "one-group pretest-posttest design." This study involved only one group, with no control group. The study began with a pretest before each respondent was given treatment. The researcher then administered treatment to each respondent, and then administered a posttest using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: Based on the results of the study at PMB Gendis, 39 respondents who received video education on breastfeeding preparation, a significance level of 0.00 (p < 0.05) was obtained. Conclusion: There is an effect of video education on the motivation of pregnant women in their third trimester to prepare for breastfeeding at PMB Gendis in Musi Rawas Regency. The researcher recommends that PMB use this information as additional information to improve and develop information on exclusive breastfeeding.]]>
