This study examines the role of TikTok in shaping students' attitudes and character at SMP Negeri 19 Seluma. A descriptive qualitative approach was used through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants consisted of the principal, homeroom teacher, civic education teacher, five disciplined students, and five less disciplined students. The analysis applies Rosenberg and Hovland's attitude formation theory, covering cognitive, affective, and conative components. The findings show that TikTok has positive roles, such as providing new knowledge, educational information, creativity, motivation, and confidence. However, excessive use also creates negative roles, including reduced learning focus, sleepiness in class, over-following trends, and imitation of language, clothing, and behavior from viral content. The study emphasizes the need for supervision from schools and parents so that students can use TikTok wisely, selectively, and in line with educational character values.
