The accuracy of underhand passing in volleyball among students is still relatively low. This is thought to be caused by suboptimal eye-hand coordination. This study aims to examine the role of hand-eye coordination in improving the accuracy of underhand passing in volleyball. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The population in this study were all 250 students of SMA Negeri 6 Kendari, of which 106 were male and 144 were female, with a sample of 30 students determined through a purposive sampling technique. Data collection instruments included a hand-eye coordination test using a tennis ball throw and catch and a volleyball underhand passing skill test. Data analysis was performed using a correlation test through the SPSS version 21 application. The results showed that hand-eye coordination had a positive and significant relationship with underhand passing accuracy, indicated by a correlation coefficient (r) of 0.583 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05. The coefficient of determination (r²) of 0.340 indicated that hand-eye coordination contributed 34% to the ability to pass underhand in volleyball. Hand-eye coordination plays a crucial role in improving the accuracy of underhand passes in volleyball. The better a person's hand-eye coordination, the better their accuracy and ball control when executing underhand passes.
