<![CDATA[Globalization has led to increasingly intensive interactions between individuals and groups with diverse cultural, religious, and ethnic backgrounds. This condition has given rise to a multicultural society that offers opportunities for cooperation and social progress, but also presents challenges in the form of intolerance, discrimination, social conflict, and identity crises. This article aims to examine Islamic thought in facing the challenges of multiculturalism in the era of globalization. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various sources of literature related to Islamic thought and the concept of multiculturalism. The results of the study indicate that Islam has a strong foundation in supporting multicultural life through the values of tolerance (tasamuh), justice (al'adl), brotherhood (ukhuwwah), and moderation (wasathiyah). Contemporary Islamic thought emphasizes the importance of interfaith dialogue, respect for diversity, and strengthening humanitarian values in building a harmonious social life. Therefore, Islamic thought can be one solution in facing the various challenges of multiculturalism in the era of globalization and contribute to creating a peaceful, inclusive, and just society. ]]>
